This time of year, nearly every company is trying to get consumer’s attention. WestJet truly made a statement with their Christmas miracle real-time giving campaign. The video spread like wildfire through social media by spreading some holiday cheer. WestJet cleverly delighted their customer’s with surprise hand-picked gifts, and made everyone want to be a WestJet customer. I feel this video was a complete success due to the well integrated technology, indirect selling message, timing and genuine audience (unknown) participation.
