As a part of my January goal to learn photoshop, I enrolled in a class on Skillshare. Skillshare is an online education website. Their mission is to reunite learning with education and make it accessible to every single person on this planet.

There are several websites out there like this, but here is what makes Skillshare different: it is designed simply and beautifully, classes are taught by industry professionals, classes can be started- stopped-finished at any time through simple videos, each class has an interesting project using the skills you’ve learned. Many of the classes cover topics in design, business and technology and range in cost typically from $0-$25.

I just finished Meg Lewis’s Introduction to Photoshop: Fundamentals for Beginners class. As a Photoshop newbie, this class was a perfect intro to the program. I had fun learning different tricks and design tidbits. The project for this class was to create a mood board. It was  a blast collecting inspiring images and putting this together.

If you are interested in learning a quick new skill in a fun and convenient environment, I’d definitely recommend checking out a class on Happy learning!
